Remember my chicken house that needed a paint job? Well it got one last week. With scrapping and a little sanding the surface was easily prepared. Spots that were worn down to bare wood received two coats of paint primer with plenty of drying time in between coats. When all the surfaces were primed, two coats of good quality red latex paint went on the main part of the structure. Then two coats of white paint for the trim.
Isn’t it amazing what a little paint can do!
But truthfully, the chickens couldn’t care less.
